Revised Rules of Engagement

after a series of 3 or 4 minor skirmishes here at home last week, and subsequent consultations with the parties concerned, coming to a mutual agreement at last, we have revised our policies for our happy home, added two more "rules", printed it out yesterday, and posted it on our family bulletin board where everybody can see it at all times of the day, with an enthusiastic hand-clapping ceremony from all parties concerned, as thus--

For Our Happy Home

1. Be honest.
2. Be kind.
3. Speak gently.
4. Clean up your own mess.

and this is so.
