im not interested in the snow, silly. i just like the setting, how beautiful it is-- small log home amidst a wide expanse of Nature all around... sigh!

Great looking family you have there! What is it about the cabin setting that you love? Is it the romantic ideal, or the simple idea of being solitary in nature? Or maybe it’s none of the above?

the cabin setting, more like the solitariness against all of nature, the rusticness too, simple life, back to basics. it doesnt have to be snow haahaa. most likely if i were retiring here it would be a river or a beach.

So, where is this? The snow at my parents cabin is much deeper usually. That is why the only go in the summer.
